Jeff’s family roots run deep in Pawnee. He graduated from Pawnee High School in 1981. Jeff went to work for his family’s business which was Bailey Auto Supply in Springfield. In 1990 Jeff began his career in public service going to work for the Illinois General Assembly where he is a Policy Analyst / Mail Coordinator for the Republican Leader where he is still employed.

Phillip A. Thompson, Board Member
Long time resident of Pawnee. A Registered Professional Nurse with Internationally Recognized Certifications in the Operating Room (CNOR) and as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) is employed by Vertos Medical as the Director of Professional Education. Owns and operates the Pawnee Shotokan Karate Club, located on the square in Pawnee.
Married for 31 years to Terri with three children: Christy - Academic Advisor at Holy Cross College, Notre Dame, Indiana. Alexander- Currently in Graduate School at Emory University, Atlanta Georgia. Drew – Currently in college at Quincy University, Quincy Illinois.
Serving third consecutive elected term as a trustee. Chair of Parks, Sewers and part of the Police Labor Negotiating team.

Troy Squires, Board Member
Troy returned back to his roots in 2013 and was appointed to the Village Board to fill out a vacated term. He was elected to a new term in 2015. Troy's parents, Bud and Linda, have been life-long residents of Pawnee and graduated from Pawnee High School in 1981. He has worked at Kincaid Generation since 1982. Prior to moving back, Troy resided in Divernon for over 20 years. While in Divernon, he volunteered for many organizations. He retired as a Captain from the Divernon Fire Department; he was Divernon Homecoming Chairman for many years and a member of the Sportmens Club. Troy is married to Tammy and has two children.

Devona Martin, Clerk
Born and raised in Barry, Illinois, Devona graduated from Western Illinois University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Business. In 1996, she moved to Pawnee. She married Jason Martin the following year. Devona worked in the banking industry until 1998 when she was hired by State Farm Insurance as a Fire Claim Representative. Devona was appointed as Village Clerk in June 2009 by Mayor Jeff Clarke.
Devona and her husband have 3 sons. Twins, Blayne and Baylee that were born in April 2000 and Breck was born in March 2007.

Mike is a native of Sangamon County and has lived in Pawnee a total of 15 years. He and his wife, Lori,are theparents of two children: Tiffany, 25 and Lucas, age 12. Mike is the Chief Fiscal Officer at the Illinois State Board of Elections and has been working in State fiscal administration since 1987. In his spare time (ha) Mike enjoys fishing, traveling and classic cars......he is a board member of the Central Illinois Mustangers association, and is currently the Chairman of the annual Pawnee Prairie Days Festival car show.'
