Fireworks

July 4, 2003 was the first fireworks display provided by the Village of Pawnee. The event was such a huge success, the current board members decided to make it an annual event. The board hopes to add to the celebration with possibly an afternoon picnic, games, etc. If you are interested in helping plan the event or have ideas to add to the celebration, please contact the village office at (217) 625-2941.

A special thanks to the Pawnee School Board for making this event possible by providing the use of the football field, bleachers and concession area.

Prarie Days

The 2009 Pawnee Prairie Days Homecoming is scheduled for June 11, 12 and 13, 2009! 3-days of activities to entertain you. Whether you come to participate or re-new old friendships... enjoy yourself! The Pawnee Prairie Days Association's success is due to combined efforts of many residents who give of their time and expertise.
